Refund Policy
LAST UPDATED: 3 July 2026
We want you to be happy with SkipEdit. This policy explains how credits work and when a refund applies. It works together with our Terms of Service.
1. How credits work
- Credits are prepaid and purchased in packs. One credit produces one finished video — the credit is consumed when a video is analysed.
- Rendering and re-rendering are free. Once a video is analysed, you can adjust slide timings and re-render as many times as you like at no extra credit.
- Credits do not expire.
2. Automatic refunds for failed analysis
If an analysis fails for a technical reason before your video reaches the review stage, the credit is refunded to your balance automatically. You only spend a credit on a video that successfully reaches review.
3. Unused credits
If you purchased a credit pack and have not used the credits, you may request a refund of the unused credits within 14 days of purchase. Once a credit has been used to analyse a video, that credit is considered delivered and is non-refundable.
4. Problems with the Service
If something goes wrong — a video that cannot be produced despite the credit being spent, or a billing error — contact us and we will make it right, which may include restoring the credit or issuing a refund.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with your order details and the reason. We aim to respond within a few business days.
6. How refunds are processed
Payments and refunds are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Paddle; the time to appear depends on your bank or card provider.
